Coaches—In case you haven’t heard!
Training for consistency is old fashioned. Don’t promote any rallies past 4 to 8 shots maximum. Longer rallies don’t matter anymore.
Learning how to grind and play defense? Waste of time.
Attack, attack, attack and strike first. That’s the key.
2-on-1’s until you puke? Overkill. Outdated.
Practicing strokes against a wall to perfect skills and get fit? Not necessary anymore.
Repeating a shot thousands of times to gain confidence? Unrealistic.
Just prioritize the serve and return and the first 4 shots. Your players will win consistently and will also magically become mentally tough under pressure. Guaranteed.
Out with the old way of practicing and in with the modern method!
Oh and by the way—you can’t disagree with me because I have stats to prove it. You can’t possibly argue with math, stupid.
And no, you can’t see the raw data or how I collected the data. Sorry. You will have to trust my conclusions!
Vamos!
