He trained for consistency, heavy RPM, grinding and defense. He learned to run and outlast his opponents. He developed patience and shot tolerance.<\/p>\n<p>In short, he developed his game liked dozens of other champion players in Spain have: The Spanish Way.<\/p>\n<p>To use pro data to argue against training this way for success on clay is a complete misinterpretation and misuse of statistical analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Come on coaches out there!
