I could make the same argument and post about Tomic’s forehand. For me, it’s a disaster. Probably kept him from being top 10 or competing for slams.
Could have been so much better with more whip, rotation, and RPM.
Of course, coaches here can argue the other way and say that the stroke made him unique.
Whatever. I don’t buy that argument.
Tomic and Medvedev both hit forehands like it’s 1980.
Anachronism.
