New Forehand Model for U10

Dear friends and tennis minds:

Here is a complete beginner—never played tennis before—learning forehand mechanics.

2nd day of technical work.

I propose teaching all young kids with a new model like this in U10 ROG rather than the old school stiff swings, follow throughs to the neck, and closed stances that are currently the standard.

I also propose teaching beginners to jump on their strokes to facilitate hip rotation and help develop elasticity in the arm and a parabolic shaped swing path.

Coaches—Let’s think outside the box!

Children don’t need to be taught stroke mechanics from a bygone era only to learn modern strokes when they are older!

Teach modern right away and save development time.
