Thoughts on Parenting

Recently I’ve been taking a more active role in my daughter’s wrestling training and helping her prepare for competitions.

I have some reflections that might help parents of competitive athletes in any sport.

1. Try not to be a coach 24/7. Make sure you have mom or dad time with your kid and times where you don’t talk about the sport.

2. Focus on mindset.

3. Focus on physical preparation and and injury prevention.
