“To play at a high level you need at least four things:
A) Money to be able to pay all costs incurred from tennis: coaches, trips, materials… Or scholarships, economic help, sponsorships… anything that can cover the expenses
B) A high level of training: One must understand that the player cannot only train with their coach; they need to rally and play directly with players of a higher level if possible.
C) A high level of competition: The player must be constantly competing at a high level. Progressively, he or she should begin elevating their level in competitions each time, until he or she arrives at the highest level possible.
D) Great technical direction: It’s indispensable to have a good coach at your side, demanding, as well as committed with your progression and providing the best experience possible.”
